Anthropic, a business sponsored by Google and Amazon, has announced the release of its third generation of artificial intelligence models, known as Claude 3, in the latest round of Silicon Valley's near-constant quest to develop more efficient technology.

Anthropic, which specializes in AI system research and security, stated that all models in the Claude 3 family set new standards for delivering a wide range of cognitive tasks. The family consists of three modern models in ascending order of capability: Claude 3 Haiku, Claude 3 Sonet, and Claude 3 Opus.

The Opus Cloud 3 chatbot is regarded as the most advanced version in the new series, having demonstrated dominance in numerous standard tests over the two competing models (GPT4 Chat) built by OpenAI and Gemini created by Google.

According to Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, the new AI models can execute more cognitively challenging jobs, such as managing sophisticated financial analyses with great accuracy.

Does Claude 3 outperform the world's most powerful artificial intelligence applications, such as GPT chat?

Cloud 3 is viewed as a continuation of the company's continuous efforts in the development of artificial intelligence capabilities. Last July, the company released the Cloud 2 series.

Since Cloud 2's debut, concerns have been raised regarding its capacity to compete with the massive GPT chat, which is owned by OpenAI, an artificial intelligence research company.

A number of technology experts around the world think that Cloud 3 has more functions than GPT chat, such as the capacity to process files, update data, and summarize the content of links, in addition to Cloud 3's superior ability to execute complicated mathematical operations and write extremely advanced code.

However, many consider this last aspect to be a double-edged sword, as it raises questions about accuracy and potential copyright violations.

Anthropic also stated that Cloud 3 is its first "multi-modal" AI series, which means that, like some other competing models, the model can respond to both text and visual inquiries, such as analyzing an image or a table.

She also stated that Cloud 3 scans images but does not generate them due to a decrease in demand for this service from universities.

Anthropic stated that the Cloud 3 series will be offered on Amazon and Google cloud platforms, with direct access in 159 countries.
