WhatsApp, an instant messaging service, is testing new settings in its iPhone app that let users customize the program's default color to a number of different hues.

 

The most recent iPhone beta version of the application appears to have additional customization options, allowing users to switch the interface's default color from green to various hues including blue, white, pink, or purple.

 

These changes come in response to the desire of some users who do not prefer the new light green color, as they expressed their preference for the old, familiar blue color, so the application developers worked to add several colors to suit the different tastes of users to customize the application interface in a way that suits them.

 

In addition, the new settings provide other key benefits such as improving accessibility in the application, and making the application more suitable for users with visual impairments, as various elements within the application can appear clearly to them when changing the default color of the interface.

 

Some reports indicate that WhatsApp is also working on other customization options, including changing the color of conversations to other colors, which helps users add another personal touch to conversations.

 

The WhatsApp application does not include many customization options available to users compared to other competing applications, such as the Telegram application, which provides many customization options that allow manipulation of the interface, icons, colors, and backgrounds.
